The picture is now affixed to the table base by drilling pilot holes from the INSIDE of the side rails into the edge of the picture framing, three screws for the longest two sides, two for the narrower sides. NOTE: Do not glue these two surfaces together. At a later date you may want to change broken or chipped glass or the entire picture for a different feel; or you may want to hang it on a wall!

Although they may not cost as much as genuine antique pieces, it does not mean to say that they are fake either. Unknown to many, there are numerous antique pieces that may be sold as "genuine", but are in fact reproductions.
